Adjust the brightness and contrast in conversion.

The images from my Nikon D810 were much darker after converting to GIF or JPEG (85 or 95%). Having a way to pre-adjust the image brightness and contrast, at the very minimum is needed to make this useful. Adding ability to sharpen/adjust hues would also be great - but even just an ability to change the exposure and contrast with a slider would be greatly appreciated.
